Gorski Reifsteck was responsible for a multi-phase renovation for the Department of Food Sciences & Human Nutrition–Hospitality Program at the University of Illinois. Projects included interior renovation of the Spice Box Dining Room, remodeling of food laboratories, kitchen renovation, and upgrades to corridors and elevator to achieve continuity with adjacent renovated spaces.

Christ Lutheran Church Expansion, Monticello, Illinois

This growing church in Monticello requires additional space for fellowship and family life activities. New space is being created which borders a heavily landscaped trail. Administrative areas are being expanded and placed adjacent to a new weekday entrance. A large kitchen designed for commercial use supports fellowship activities. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2011.

New Fire Department Headquarters, Tolono, Illinois  4.12.10

The new facility will serve as the main headquarters for the Tolono Fire Protection District and the east-side response center. Features include bays for 6 fire apparatus, an ambulance and other response equipment. It is sited on downtown property that formerly was home to a primary school. An operations center is designed to be fully functional during a time of disaster. A large meeting room will be used for community events. The project is currently being designed as LEED-certified.

Baseball Clubhouse/Locker Room Expansion and Remodeling, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign  4.12.10

A newly expanded locker room features integrated audio-visual technology, custom designed lockers and team storage. Other updates include a new lounge that serves double duty as a study space for student athletes and entertainment area for recruits and parents. Existing space was remodeled to provide separate accommodations for coaches and umpires.
